Elections Chair or Not
It was concluded the Bylaws/Elections Committee is a single committee?… to work thru its chicken/egg dynamics. The committee looks sizable with the need for some working space? Maybe Patricia can let us know if & what nights might be available via the Donor Network for committee?’s use?? From my understanding, it was left for the committee to select its chair. Elections Chair or Not
Tamara: The new committee is the bylaws committee; and I expect that an elections chair will be chosen after the bylaws are completed, by whatever means the new bylaws dictate. Fyi: our members have voted repeatedly to not show their addresses in the cc: section of broadcast email, please use the bcc: section to copy others, (list the names at the bottom if you wish), this message is bcc:'d to those you included. Thank you. -Charley By Charley Jones |

Response to Election Chair/
Charley, I would like to know when this item was VOTED upon. To the best of MY knowledge, there has been NO voting on this matter. At ANYTIME! It has ONLY been discussed via the internet. And it has only been at this level that people have asked that their email addresses NOT be placed publicly for everyone to see. Charley, you need to begin to get the things you write and say into proper order before you say and print them. I know from experience, as we get older we tend to tend to get some things in our Life muddy up a bit. But over the last few months you seem to be doing it more than you have done it in the past. Additionally, if Tamara is no longer election chair, then why are not all of the other people who chair committees still in position of their committees? At no point was it voted on to remove her as the election chair. If you want to hear each and every word which was said at the meeting I will gladly let you hear them. They were recorded on a digital voice recorder because it was known that NO ONE would be taking the minutes of the meeting and that many things would be said and NOT remembered. So if anyone has any doubt as to what was said in the meeting it is on record. Again, at no time was it discussed that ANY chair step down from their committee, therefore, until such time that there is another meeting of the association, each person who currently chairs a committee will continue to do so, just as at this time you are acting chair of the association. At the next meeting, hopefully soon after the new By-Laws are written, and approved on by the majority of those who are voting members of the PPHDNA, we will determine when there will be a new election and at that time ASK Tamara if she and her committee wish to continue to deal with the election or if she and they want to step down and allow others to take the new election and make it happen.
