Today the guy that is soliciting 'GE/Pinnacle' security systems is Matt King. A young, clean cut, articulate white male. He was very interested in giving me a 'FREE' system with 'FREE' monitoring because I have such an 'attractive corner lot' where they want to post their advertising. He wanted to come in my home and check out my existing system, check out my doors, etc. I told him no so then he asks if we can go around the back of the house. I again tell him no. He does his little schpeel and wants to 'make a call' to run a credit check on me and to make sure my house is not in default to make sure I 'qualify' for this 'free' deal. I let him know I needed to speak to my husband first. I asked for his card and he gives me this little slip of paper that has a free equipment pre-qualification info on it and jotted down his name and phone number on it.
I called his number and it immediatly goes to a Mission Impossible ringtone, then to his voicemail. The phone number is obviously a personal cell phone.

Not surprisingly, his EXACT schpeel was word-for-word as described in this ripoff report.
After reading this, I called him back and told him that I spoke to my husband and we are not interested and to not bother coming back to our house.
Just thought I'd share the info. He's going around to alot of houses today.
