MINUTES - PLEASANT VIEW SOCIAL CLUB (23 June 2007)

The Pleasant View Social Club (PVSC) held its annual picnic on June 23, 2007 at Fox Run Regional Park. The PVSC President, Diane Jones, conducted a short meeting at 12:00 PM, introduced the PVSC Board of Directors, welcomed attendees, offered her thanks to various members for their efforts in supporting the club and arranging the picnic, announced the Annual Fall Meeting in the October timeframe, and solicited members to become candidates for the various board positions for election at the Annual Fall Meeting. The Neighborhood Watch Chairperson, Sheila Frey, presented information regarding her contact information, area security and wildlife. The Treasurer, Walter Reiss, provided a brief funds report. The last portion of the meeting was devoted to the Academy Water and Sanitation District Board members present (Ron Curry, Walter Reiss, and Jim Weilbrenner) providing information regarding the Donala Water and Sanitation District?’s invitation to merge with it. Numerous questions were answered. Additional information on this matter will be provided as available and again be discussed at the Annual Fall Meeting. The meeting adjourned at 12:55 PM, and the picnic was enjoyed by all. 55 PVSC members participated, and 3 new families joined the PVSC. The 2007 PVSC Directory was also distributed to members in attendance.
