SPEED BUMPS ARE FAR TO DANGEROUS TO PUT IN SUBDIVISIONS,  ESPECIALLY HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS WHERE CHILDREN AND OTHER MAY TEND TO WALK ALOT OR RIDE BYCYCLES, THERE WOULD BE ALOT OF PEOPLE HURT, CAN YOU IMMAGINE APROACHING A SPEED BUMP ON A BIKE OR WHILE JOGGING, OR MOTORCYCLE RIDING AT NIGHT AND NOT SEING IT????  IN A NEIGHBORBORHOOD NO!!!!, SORRY NOT A GOOD SUGGESTION AT ALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No to Speed bumps due to if you ride a bicycle or any other type of fun activity you have to watch for speed bumps and there is no fun that way!!...also small children in bicycles should be with an adult not by them self i see lots of kids under 13 with no adult supervision what so ever on scooters or etc...also if you walking your pets should be in a leash that is the LAW!!! I have no problems with many things in this world but if we live in a coded neighborehood respect the CODE!!!! thats what we pay evey YEAR!! people need to read the contract and adhered to the rules no exceptions!! unless is medical conditon or special care need. we need to take care of our neighborehood because others don't really care.

I live on Wallace Avenue and alot of my neighbors park on the street, as does my mother-in-law when she visits us.  The combination of cars racing from stop sign to stop sign and the parked cars narrowing the street make for a very dangerous situation for our kids.  I think speed humps would help.  I agree that an unpainted hump is dangerous to cyclist (I cycle, too).  But even a cyclist has no business going over about 15 miles per hour in a neighborhood and can easily slow for a 12 inch tall, 3 foot deep, speed hump.  I just don't know another way short of parking a marked car on my street all day.

If you want to advise we stop parking in the street, it's okay by me, but its universally done.  Everyone has two cars and most the garages and drives a one car wide.  This makes it inconvenient to park two cars one behind the other.  I have a two car garage, so I avoid this problem, but people don't want to have to switch cars all the time.
