Passed through street in question last night @ 10ish and there were four or five teens in the back of a pickup just sitting there. At the house was someone else coming out of the garage with what appeared to have been an adult, but who knows. Cant be up to any good this time of night...
Around Lake Sunset Ct. street.

I can sympathize. I too have called the police concerning this issue. Its incredible that the HOA sends letters to someone who has not had time to mow their lawn until the weekend, but can do nothing about this issue. I received a letter about the lawn and was mortified and felt that I had disappointed the neighborhood. I am pretty sure, (at least I hope so), that letters have been sent to the offending neighbor. I just think the letters went into the trash or others lawn. The by-laws need to be examined and an eviction or fines need to be imposed. If the fines aren't paid, then maybe a forclosure or something. I don't know. I too want the wonderful, peaceful neighborhood we had in the past.

I agree. It seems the more they get reported and being "called" and "sent letters to" it seems to be adding more to the fire. I mean just right now, it's midnight and all I'm hearing outside is screaming kids, very loud music and racing cars outside. The later at night, the more they come out. I don't seem to be noticing that there's not an adult figure over there, or at least the times I go check the mail, I look around. But all I see are those teens in the cars, or with the garage door open doing something. I don't see why they are sending letters to people who have to work and can't cut the grass until the weekend. It's sad they don't understand people have to make a living too. Plus the heat in the afternoon after work hours is killer. It makes me wonder if the people with the dead lawns even get notified. Like the house that has been causing the trouble. |

These kids are like the ducks that have an adult body, but have not yet developed mental maturity. They are not yet exposed to the reality of a mortgage payment & all the other fun that goes along with adulthood. This phase of their life too shall pass. Several years ago there was another set of rambunctious(?) kids in our midst. I ran in to one of the kids mother in HEB & she told me her son was in Irag along with two other TowneLakers. They entered adulthood in a real way. These kids will be in the real adult world soon. Be patient. |
