I am glad to hear that no conspiracy exists. I didn't intend to perpetuate any rumors, I was just concerned and was hopeing to get some clarification. We really enjoy seeing our officers patrol our streets and we sleep better at night knowing they are out there keeping us safe. I would love to see input from the other 3 memebers of the new commission as well as the Mayor. This is a important issue for me and my wife.

As a single woman living in SV, I was on a first name basis with our former police officers and it made me feel safe knowing that they were around.  I would hate to have to wait for a response from the Louisville Police Department if I really needed help.  The SV officers have checked on my house whenever I went out of town and have called me when they saw anything suspicious going on near my house.  I appreciate all the work they have done and hope that you do not consider disbanding our police department.

I am very pleased with our police force.  I seem to feel more at ease knowing they are there as I am alone during the day.  Just knowing they are there when need be, I can breathe a sigh of relief.

I hope they continue to stay!
