A hammer can be used to build or a hammer can be used to destroy. Have you fixed anything today? There are a lot of things that need to be fixed. Starting with the people who sit back and say nothing. Some people who sit back and listen are doing things to make the things around them better. This is good.
Some people are sitting and doing absolutely nothing to make things better. If things are to get better everyone need to become a positive participant in making things better.
Everyone who has forgotten what real news is has got to stop listening to just those who are voicing opinions in the media and calling it news. Everyone who spends excess time online, should be making something better while they are online. You must start to participate if you want things in your community to get better.
It is not enough to just go and vote. It is not enough to just listen. You have to get busy doing things that show immediate results. A lot is at stake in America and in our communities. The worse part about this is that, when a ship that's in stormy deep water sinks, the odds are the ffatalities will be greater numbers than the survivors. So stop sitting around waiting to see if the ship in deep water will sink, and start participating in helping the ship out of the stormy deep waters. We can get America back to the beautiful coast only when the greater numbers participate.
You know your situation better than anyone. You know your needs. You and only you can change where you are going. Get up, get out, get on the phone, get out a pen, get to your key board and at the end of each day, know you did something that will make something better in your community.
Politicians are looking out for themselves. And to those of you who deem yourself to be equal to your local politician, you had better wise up. All any politician see is green (money). The few who might not be totally blinded by green (money) does not and will not do anything that does not profit them. This means, instead of you spilling out the venom you get from media, and from your politician, and from our arm chair conversations, you need to be making something better everyday.
If you are a great talker are you putting your voice to good use, like changing something for better. Repeating political talking points of the day does not help you nor your community. If you are a great writer are you putting your written words to use, like changing something for the better.
America is in a great time as far as what we have available to get things done. We can sit in our homes all hours of the day and night and reach people of all status. We can get up and go out and within minutes, get involved in great and not so great causes. We can even find ways to make money other than a 9-5. Opportunity doesn't get better than our America of today. Make something positive happen, OK. Can you do that? Or do you car. All this silly talk about worry, and trillion$ deficits is a hindrance to making things better sooner rather than later.
I challenge you to do something today that you can put your eyes and or hands on tomorrow and say you made it better. Pariticpate, Participate, Participate. Ready, Set Go!!!
