If you have viewed the neighborhood plan recently completed by the task force, what is your opinion? Do you think it will help or harm the neighborhood. What would you like to see happen to the former Kroger site? Are there businesses you would like to see open in Portland?

I think someone needs to start a daycare for the single mothers in the area to give them the urge to get some job training. I think the largest problem in the area is lack of self motivation among the young people to make a life for themselves. The daycare should not be just a drop off point so mm goes back home to sleep! They must provide proof of a job and or on the job training for a career. I think the mayor should find a way to to partial fund the daycare, athough were in a budjet crisis.

That is a good idea, it would be a good location, I agree with what you are saying.
