Farwell Party for Kienow's

In response to input from neighbors, a farewell gathering is being organized for the employees of Kienow's. Saturday March 20th will be their last day. The gathering will be held at the Keinow's parking lot on Sat. (3/20/99) from 2-4 pm. Food and beverages, as well as doorprizes for drawings, are being donated by some of the local businesses.

Please turn out to show your support and to say farwell to the Kienow's staff, we will miss them!

If you are interested in volunteering in any way, (making signs, MC'ing the raffle, coordinating beverages, etc.) please contact Karen Lewis, 288-4356.

Kienow's to QFC!

I wanted to let you all know that the Neighborhood Association has received some additional information regarding the future of the Kienow's site.

It sounds like QFC is leasing the property and is expecting to open-up a store around September.

I think this is great news, and wanted to share the info.
