Concern has been raised about the noise impact caused by increasing, round-the-clock air traffic. The Office of Neighborhood Involvement has been asked to form a citizen's advisory group. This group will function as a liaison between the Portland neighborhoods, City Bureaus, Port of Portland, Federal Aviation Authority, the airlines, the Noise Advisory Committee and other groups concerned with urban liveability and land-use issues.

The Grant Park Neighborhood Association needs a representative to serve on this committee. Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Avenue.
