SHNA plans on participating in the National Night Out again this year, on 8/6/02. The focus of this program is to bring neighbors together to have fun while learning about crime issues and prevention methods. We will try to have a uniformed officer stop by for a visit. We had a good turn-out last year, and I hope more folks will join us this August. I am soliciting ideas on activities that will be fun for kids and families, suggestions for things we might do differently this year, etc. If you are interested in helping us plan or conduct this event, PLEASE let me know! thank you.
