I don't live in your neighborhood, but Our neighborhood is having a VERY difficult time getting ALL-WAY stops installed where there are frequent collisions.
They say it ''doesn't meet the warrant''; that is, it is against the city policy.
They say they will install ''speed bumps'' if 67% of the resident sign, but these don't improve visibility at the intersections. Not to mention, 2 block away, the drug dealers drive up to 70 MPH over the existing speed bumps.
How can we convience the city to revise their policy to consider 1)number of children in the area, 2)non-recorded collisions, 3)ratio of major to minor street peak hour volumes, 4) blind intersections, 5) frequency of stops being run, 6) peek speed above the speed limit??????
