I agree with Sawmill being an issue. I leave earlier to get through faster.

Also, we can't just blame Columbus for this mess. Delaware County felt that extending Sawmill would be great. They did not care that it would bring more traffic through this direction to I-270. They really need to know what is going on too. This is only going to get worse when that road cuts through further.

Imagine

When the plan to connect Sawmill Parkway all the way up to the city of Delaware. Imagine what your traffic snarl will look like then...Man I'm glad I don't have to to take Sawmill to get to work. Riverside Drive is golden. and after the Zoo road is done I bet you'll be taking riverside to get to sawmill as well.

I also applaud the letter. It's great when people give their opinions. The 2nd writer is a jerk and they know it. Nothing you or I can do to help them.

I totally agree, but we are not the virgins here. Think about the people that live on Carriage Place. The people who lived north of Powell on 23. The people who lived in the country north of Dublin before Muirfield. Many of them made money, many just suffered the consequences. I can tell you right now though that the house I bought in Olde Sawmill in 1989 sold recently for $125,000 more than I paid for it.

We live in a great location. What if you lived in Scioto Reserve and have to drive down to Powell road to get to a grocery store? Are their streets as wide in that subdivision? Are their lots as large. Are they closer to schools ( think about those that live outside Olentangy )

We could make BBF like Upper Arlington. What do you think those people thought when all the building expanded around them? What about Worthington?

We can sit back and bitch and moan, or step up and make this the best place to live.

I applaud the person who wants to send the letter. That person is forward thinking. I do think a few things are taking place that will help with the conjestion, but the better alternative is to plan around it.
