Legacy Pointe Phases !V and V

Posted in: Legacy Pointe
This is a thread devoted to discussion of the future Legacy Pointe Phases IV and V. The Legacy Pointe POA will need to vote in the future on whether we want those phases to be part of the current POA. There is still a lot of information that needs to be provided to us before a vote can take place, but this is a forum for us to be able to talk pros and cons as new information becomes available.

Next phase of Legacy

First I want to thank the board members for their dedication and hard work.

If Phases IV and V are separate, will that weaken the governing of our POA? We seem to be having so much trouble with control of fees and issues like the one that Leibold is addressing. If we are separate from the new phase that is important to the developers, will we lose their interest entirely? It seems to me that we have trouble enforcing the rules. And if the interest of the Sloan's are focused on the new development, will that make it worse?
Next phase of Legacy

The POA would be weaker with Phases IV and V than without it because the larger the POA the more diluted each individual vote is. And collecting fees and enforcing rules would only be harder with a bigger POA. As for the Sloan's, I doubt they care about us anyway. Their lots are already sold....

Would we have access to the pool that is to be put in? Would they have access to the park that is going in?
