NEVER pass off as just coincidence, if you happen to repeatedly see the same "unfamiliar vehicle" cruising your neighborhood.....something is up! Perhaps, the "unsubs" are actually "sizing up" respective homes on your street, for such things as traffic patterns, busy times, idle periods, kids or no kids, etc.. Who knows, it could be that someone is actually just looking to buy or rent in your locale, but watch that RED FLAG....especially if there are NO FOR SALE or FOR RENT SIGNS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD! Perhaps it is a "private sale", or a media-advertised rental....could be....but NEVER, NEVER just pass it off....be suspicious - STAY ALERT!!! A sure sign that someone is up to shady dealings, is if the vehicle has VERY DARK TINTED WINDOWS - which are against the law, by the way! If you think it might be an unmarked vehicle from your local law enforcement agency - when you call to report the unfamiliar vehicle, ask: "Is something going on in my neighborhood, that calls for unmarked law enforcement vehicles to be CRUISING THE NEIGHBORHOOD????" Don't forget - PEOPLE TAKING WALKS MAY LOOK INNOCENT ENOUGH - BUT - ONCE AGAIN, KEEP YOUR GUARD UP, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR TO YOU AND KEEP COMING BACK AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY.....ONE LAST ITEM - in todays' world - there are a lot of sick people out there, and unfortunately - many "unsubs" / "perps" PREY ON INNOCENT CHILDREN.... If your neighborhood has a high concentration of school-age children, I can not stress enough - MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE, WHO THEY ARE WITH, AND WHERE THEY ARE GOING.... A short walk from home to the bus stop can actually turn into quite a NIGHTMARE, so be careful - it only takes a second for your child to be "snatched" by a predator.... CHILDREN ARE OUR MOST PRECIOUS RESOURCE, YET MANY DERANGED PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR INNOCENCE.... Teach your children early, that it pays to stay alert, and above all - TEACH THEM HOW TO DEFEND THEMSELVES, AND WHAT TO DO IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION.... More to come.....
