Board Approves Wall Committee Proposal

At the Aug. 1, 2002 PTNA Board Meeting, the Wall Committee presented its proposal for the repairs to the damaged wall along Preston Road. After a thorough review and discussion of the Committees findings, the Board accepted the proposal and authorized funding for this long anticipated improvement to our neighborhood.

Brickcrete Wall System

PremierCrete Products, Plano,TX is the premier source of precast concrete fences in the Southwest. As seen by the enclosed photo, this product has virtually the same look and durablility as brick or stack stone, but at a much lower cost. In the manufacturing process, concrete panels are chipped and pitted so that the surface assumes the character of a used brick and mortar wall. Color variation is achieved with the use of a two-colored concrete mix and mortar lines are detailed in the process. After placing the top panel, the Brickcrete cap is affixed to complete the traditional motif.
