Any one noticed all the trash that you have to wade through to enjoy a nice picnic at the lake? I'm a Nashville native that just recently moved back to town and I was shocked to see how much trash has accumulated on the islands and the shore line. Luckily, I've met some folks who found it just as appauling and want to do something about it.
Percy Priest lake cleanup is entering it's 3rd round of picking up trash at our beautiful lake. If you would like to get involved the next event come out on May 2nd any time from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. You can register for 3 hour blocks of cleanup and will be provided with food, entertainment, and lots of free giveaways.
