The Woodlawn Community Development Corporation is excited to invite you to join our new Nonviolence Initiative : “EMBRACE PEACE IN OUR COMMUNITY “
Our main goal is to converge our efforts to reduce and prevent violence in the cities of Pawtucket and Central Falls by:
§ Identify different incidents of violence that we experience in our jobs and communities, and its causes.
§ Identify how violence is affecting our jobs and our daily life.
§ Identify what resources we have and are currently using in our communities and workplaces to prevent and intervene before violent
incidents.
§ Explore what other resources we need to prevent violence or to intervene when it’s needed, and
§ Look for ways and methods to cooperate and maximize our efforts to effectively prevent, control, and intervene before any violent action.
