We still have a very bad speeding problem on North Chadwick Road (that is NOT breaking news). 

More than one North Chadwick resident has posted something about it on this site. More than one resident has appealed to "the powers that be" to do something to alleviate the problem.  The Bellemeade mayor himself has personally witnessed and attested to the severity of the problem.  He even posted something to that effect on this site.  He even researched a couple of potential solutions including rent a cop and volunteer officer further indicating that he knows full well that there is a BIG problem.  More than one resident from other streets have even posted their observations about the speeders on here.  More than one resident has allowed LMPD to set the speed alert machine in their yard. More than one resident has contacted LMPD, Councilman Ackerson, and Public Works, over and over and over and over and ......... over in some cases.  They say they will coordinate a solution with Bellemeade and say they will contact Mayor Odom-Groh and nothing happens. 

Now to FINAL JEPORADY:  When is somebody really going to take the initiative and  do more than "look into" the problem?   Will the real leaders stand up?

Mr. German Shepard poster, you know better than to ask those kinds of questions.  People will say you are a troublemaker.  Just be quiet like a good little boy and let the speeders use your street for a drag strip and you go on out in the yard a plant a tree or two so you can say you did your part to keep this Tree City USA and hold up property values.  Never-you-mind that dangerous streets and breakins lower property value.

He he, I told you somebody would think you are a troublemaker because you speak your mind. I heard from somebody who heard from somebody who heard from somebody that some of the powers to be openly confronted you to about "the noise" you are making and for"coming down hard" on laryl as though you are the bad guy.  You can't do that Mister German Shepard man; public officials are immune from ciriticism once they get elected.  You should know that already.
