PHHPA was awarded just under $8,000 from the OKC Neighborhood Matching Grant Program for
landscape improvements. The project will focus on landscaping the island median at NW 35th and
McKinley as well as planting over 20,000 daffodil bulbs on NW 35th Street from Classen to Blackwelder. What a beautiful sight! Thanks go out to many individuals. The design was done by Warren Edwards,PHHPA resident and Landscape Architect with consulting by Hazel Knowles, Master Gardner. Doug Bannister served on the committee and provided his consulting services on design layout and materials. Both Doug and Hazel did an incredible job doing the important task of helping round up 45 neighbors from Putnam Heights to volunteers over 300 hours for this project. Way to go Putnam Heights and thanks to everyone that helps make our neighborhood a great place to live.
