Introducing the 5th Ward R.O.C

Greetings neighbor, allow me to introduce myself;
My name is Rhashonna and I am a member of the 5th ward community. I am an activist for positive community relationships. I have been working with schools, Law enforcement, and local government and hope that my efforts will make a positive difference in our community. Recently I have been involved with organizing the 5th Ward ROC.
The 5th Ward ROC began as a Neighborhood Watch group. The intent was to partner with the Linden Police Department to increase neighborhood safety.
The group was organized in the Spring 2005, there have been 3 meetings to date . Recently, we have been successful in our efforts to start a telephone chain to report suspicious and illegal activity to the police. Our focus remains on protecting and preserving our neighborhood with the neighborhood watch efforts. In addition to this we also hope to bring residents together to strengthen our community.
