I spoke to Officer Kevis with New Castle County police and she will post these issues with the officers in this area. She is not aware of any complaints being reported regarding the park but is checking into it. By posting these issues it is at the discretion of the officers in this area to make a drive by whenever their shift allows them the time to do it.
She also mentioned that since the new administration took over New Castle County she has had numerous complaints about the lack of trash cans and trash removal in the parks. She is encouraging anyone who feels that their taxes should be used for trash removal in the parks to contact the county and express their concern. Make sure when all the politicians begin knocking on doors in fall asking for your vote you express your concerns with them. Hold your elected officials responsible for the jobs they ran for and get paid for. Please keep in mind the civic association is nothing more than a few neighbors of yours that try to get things done. We aren't paid and everything we do is purely voluntary.
Harry I don't know what your issue is with me but I am just a resident of Radnor Green like you. I have no political aspirations and don't really enjoy the thankless job of being on the civic association and people like you who want to post anonymously and criticize everyone who is getting involved don't help.
Why don't you come to a meeting and get involved. You seem to have a lot of ideas that you can try to get implemented.
