Driver Identified in Hit and Run Crash, Home Remains Condemned
New Castle County Police have arrested Richard T. Wright, a 21 year old male who resides in the 900 block of E. 27th Street in the City of Wilmington. He has been charged with felony criminal offenses after police confirmed he was the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a home last Sunday in Radnor Woods. Wright then fled the crash scene in the car leaving behind a home that needed to be condemned due to the heavy damage. The homeowner, who was inside the dwelling at the time of the crash, narrowly missed being injured or killed by the crashing car.
