Rambling Acres

Is anyone bothered by a high pitched piercing sound that only ceases for seconds only to return? We have been troubled by this incesant sound for well over a month and we cannot detect the source of it. We know that it is not coming from within our house and we are simply tired of this constant noise bombardment. Any help in resolving this would be most appreciated.
