Old Farm Neighborhood Association

I live at 602 Red Carriage Avenue. Recently, I ask the city?’s sewer maintenance depart to clean out my sewer line. The city sewer maintenance crew accessed my main sewer line at the curb and cleaned it. However, the technician told me that my clean out an access hole is in need of repair and I would have to pay for it. I contacted a couple of pluming companies and was told that it is the city?’s responsibility to make the repairs. I contact the city again and was sent a document to justify their position. What do you think? Has any neighbor confronted this issue and if so, what was the result?
