RCC staff has found that residents in the Ravenswood neighborhood often leave doors and windows open and/or unsecured during the day. This offers burglars, home invaders and others unrestricted access to your home. PLEASE - lock your doors even while you are home so you do not become a victim of this crime of opportunity. Also, if you see anyone behaving suspiciously around your home or apartment building or your neighbors' homes or apartment buildings, note a description of the person(s) and call 911 to report the suspicious activity. It is better that an unnecessary call be made on occasion than to have a burglary or home invasion take place that could have been prevented.
