Red Oak Civic Association September News Letter
Meeting Tuesday, September 7th, 2004
Join today for only $15 a year. You can make a difference to your neighborhood!
Red Oaks Civic Association is important to both homeowners and tenants, to all residents (Members and non- members), in our neighborhood. All our meetings are important however most residents would agree that Zoning Changes are in need of community scrutiny. This is one of the topics for discussion at the September 7th, 2004, meeting held in the Green Oaks BREC Park Building at 7:00 in the PM.
Re-Zoning
Red Oak Civic Association was contacted by an architectural firm about a proposed project on the south side of Tams Drive at North Sherwood Forest Drive that involves Re-Zoning of residential lots to commercial. Representatives of the firm Sauviac & Dang Architecture will explain at the meeting September 7, why you, the resident, should commercialize some residential lots located on Tams Drive at North Sherwood Forest Drive in Red Oak Subdivision. This is very important. Councilwoman, Martha Jane Tassin, also will be in attendance to help us and answer questions.
