2nd Annual Community Yard Sale this Summer
Our 2nd annual community yard sale will be held on July 23, 2005. The hours will be from 8:30 to 12:30. The last time our neighborhood did this was in January 2004 and it rained off and on that day. Nearly 20 homes in our neighborhood had participated! Many neighbors requested that we move the sale to a summer month. Request granted! The DCC will purchase the ad in the San Diego Union Tribune to advertise this community event. Please post signs, arrows or balloons on that day, with your address if you are participating. We also need volunteers to create and post community yard sale signs at College & Streamview, Streamview & 54th , University & 54th and College & University. Please volunteer to do one of these signs. With your participation we can make this a great success! Barbara Belcher will be available to provide you with change during this day and she is also going to strategically place balloons around the neighborhood. Call her at 619-729-1086 if you need change during the day. Judy Bonilla will advertise the event on several Internet sites.
