I live on the corner that they're putting the stop sign at! I guess if you're unable to attend the meeting your opinion doesnt matter! Sorry if I have kids that are active in sports and have a life outside of Meetings.

Reba! We agreed on something!! I have been complaining on here forever about the Commission people not listening to residents except at the ONCE-A-MONTH meeting. That has been going on for as long as I can remember.
Ans as an aside, exactly why are you complaining? There is already a STOP sign in front of where you live.
When I come from Southampton to turn left onto Chadwick, I can see the need for a stop sign on Chadwick to slow people down coming (speeding) off of Shelbyville Road. |

I re-read the minutes from April and it was clear only one end of the street would get Stop Signs.....I hope this helps solve an on-going problem on the South end. I didn't realize those signs cost as much. Has anyone noticed the Stop Sign at Charing Cross and Dorchester? It serves TWO houses. |

Good observation. Point that out to Mr.Mayor and Commissioner Hill. They could pull that one up and move it and save $500.00. |
