What a hoot you two laides are having a lot of fun over nothing. I do not remember ever having a city budget published prior to it being voted on. The law requires two reading in consecutive open meetings and then the vote. After that it must be published and mailed to residents.

As to the recall there is no provision for recall elections in Kentucky.

As for me except for his support of speed humps I think he is doing a good job.

Your comment is exactly why we want to see the budget BEFORE it is law. Everything in this city is signed and sealed BEFORE the people have any voice in it.  This is the 21st Century; the worst excuse EVER for doing something is that it has always been done that way. 

PUBLIC SCRUTNITY IS THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS!  Metro published its proposed budget; so did Lexington, Lagrange, Shelbyville, Shively, Bowling Green, Owensboro, E-town, Horse Cave, Hazard,,and on and on. Why not Bellemeade?

Mr. froger, I have lived here for over 20 years and I do not remember seeing a proposed budget published either, and I have known of some terrible spending decisions made as a result.  Sir, this lady has a right to know how my few tax dollars are going to be spent upfront, period!  So does Reba, so get out of our face about exercising our basic freedoms.  Go make fun of someone who is in the wrong.  I get to decide what is "nothing" and what is "something" in MY life.

Did you use spellcheck?   laides????   Two meeting or two meetings?  I know, spellcheck wouldn't help on the second one.

And you DO have a right to your opinion.  But, you do NOT have a right to chastize me about voicing mine.  All I want is a change in the way our city does things.  Do all of the decision-making in the light of day. Be open to suggestions.  It could have been so simple and so righteous to have published the proposed budget.
