The first Neighborhood Watch meeting was a resounding success! Over 15 conscientious neighbors braved the heat and attended our meeting in the park, and all had helpful comments and great questions. Deputy Truscott with the City of Temecula Police Department gave a great presentation and answered all questions. She gave us information about the latest break-in and vandalism on Breman Ct. 7-12-10 and told us about the other Police activity in our area over the past 6 months. She is very experienced and passionate about her job and she will be a key ally for us in the future.
Deputy Truscott also provided us many documents that will help us organize our Neighborhood Watch program. These documents will be uploaded to the site under the Neighborhood Watch section of the Pages and Links page. I will be contacting the neighbors who attended through email to coordinate our efforts.
Thanks again to all that attended and please keep the ball rolling by making an effort to talk with neighbors that did not attend and encourage them to sign-up on the website, and send an email to RembrandtNeighbors@hotmail.com with their name and address in the message to help us reduce our HOA costs, join us in the battle to get things done in this community, and keep everyone informed of the latest announcements and efforts. There’s strength in numbers!!
