CSU Gives RHCA MEMBER Alumni Award.

For the pass eight years, The Chicago Teachers College/Chicago State University Alumni Association has given outstanding individuals (alumni) whose personal accomplishments and contributions to society brings honor to their Alma Master. The Roseland Heights community is proud to announce that RHCA member Mrs. LaVelma English will receive one of these prestigious awards.
Mrs. English is the widow of Mr. Benjamin English, an astounding resident, long time member of R.H.C.A., and person for whom The Benjamin English Scholarship is named. This scholarship, started in 1999, is awarded to a community student each year. Mrs. English, a member of The 99th Street East / West Block Club, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to her community. RHCA wants to congratulate LaVelma English on her well-deserved honor for her distinguished community service and commitment to excellence throughout her personal and professional life.
