The food pantry at St.Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Avenue, thanks those 25 neighbors in Darlington Plains, Darlington and Pleasant View neighbors who helped participate in the Car Wash for Cans on October 13. The church received a large carriage of food items as well as generous cash donations. We like to thank our congregation and our neighbors as well as congregants of St.Teresa of the Child Jesus, St.Mary's Antiochian Church, and First Baptist Church, all of Pawtucket, who unceasingly assist the survival of our pantry. In all, 100-130 needy Pawtucket families per week use the food pantry. Again, many thanks to those who participated in the car wash.
