New Registered Sex Offender Residing in Ridaught Landing

A concerned homeowner has notified the Board of Directors that there is a new resident in Ridaught Landing Three that is a registered sex offender.

"Under Florida law, the Sheriff or Chief of Police of jurisdiction shall notify the community of the presence of a sexual predator, and in the case of an offender the Sheriff or Chief of Police is authorized, but not mandated, to notify the community."

Since the new resident is listed as an offender and not a predator, CCSO is not REQUIRED to inform the neighborhood.
