Re: Cleanliness In and Around The Front Of Our Brazos Landing Homes

Dear Homeowners

We would like to bring to your attention to several very important cleanliness issues in our neighborhood.

Pick Up Trash In Yards, On Sidewalks and In The Street
Trash in the form of food wrappers, newspapers, drink cans, miscellaneous paper etc. is finding its way into our yards and sidewalks and into the streets in front of our homes. Some of this is from work crews but that is lessening as we get near to 100% built out in Section 1. The trash now seems to be more from our own residents and their families who are carelessly discarding various materials into the yards and streets. We need to be diligent and regularly pick up any trash found in and around the front of our homes. It only takes a few moments to stroll around the yard, sidewalk and street in front of our homes to pick up any trash and deposit it in the nearest can. This will help keep our neighborhood clean and beautiful and as a result keep property values high. We also need to instruct our children to place candy wrappers, drink cans and other refuse in the trash can instead of in the street. Please help with this problem by policing the area around your home and encouraging others to keep the front of their homes clean and trash free as well.

Washing Or Sweeping The Street In Front Of Your Home
Dirt, dust and mud will naturally accumulate over time in the gutter in front of each home. Each resident needs to periodically assist our normal rainfall and use a hose and water or a broom to push any dirt, dust or mud down into the sewer. If we do not pay attention to this the gutter and street area immediately in front of our home will start to look unsightly. At this time we are not paying for regular professional street sweeping services so it is imperative that each homeowner police the street and gutter area in front of their home and wash or sweep once in a while.
