I will echo the thoughts of my colleagues in hoping that everyone had a fine summer, whether you remained here in River Isles or your travel plans found you in other destinations...for Joan and I, it?’s good to be back, and as the old adage says, ?“There?’s no place like home.?”
With numerous homes on the market here in River Isles, it?’s imperative that we maintain our street and market appeal. This is accomplished in part by continuing to support and adhere to the River Isles adopted covenants.
As a banker, one of the many observations was to detect counterfeit currency. To identify a bogus bill, you look at it in its entirely, concentrating on each aspect, e.g.: the seal, the portrait, the paper, all the various details. All of which together identifies its value and validity.
So it?’s the same with our covenants. When we ALL concentrate on every one of them, regardless of how unimportant we may sometimes think they are, each adherence contributes to the overall positive appearance of our community. Such as lawns and grounds maintained, roofs cleaned when needed, lamp post illumination, etc. Remember, each and every resident together makes up our community.
River Isles is thought of as Manatee?’s best kept secret. Well, it?’s time we blew the whistle!
