They are at it again (still).

Yesterday, (October 14) a small group of young males banging on doors in the middle of the afternoon, apparently attempting to find empty houses to rob. 

Wednesday, October 14 around noon time 2 African-American Males, in their mid 20's, one wearing a blue striped shirt and another wearing an orange hoodie were making the rounds on Creede Trail.

One in blue striped shirt was banging on doors. Apparently came my house and the house of a neighbor. After being unable to answer the door in a timely manner, found the one in the orange hoodie near the gate to my back yard.

Upon finding someone was home subject got into a red (maroon) SUV and drove off. No description of the driver.

Police were called, and neither they nor I was able to find anyone or any vehicle matching the description.

Get the license plate for sure!  This is probably a different group, doesn't sound like the renters who were inside RT already and took the opportunity to rob fellow neighbors.  The more active we are and more aware we are, the burglars will move on to less-aware and less caring neighborhoods--easier (and faster) targets.  Criminals want to get in and out as fast as possible without being noticed, if they get noticed, and the neighborhood is diligent, word will spread and they will mostly leave us alone.
