If anyone know the thieves, who are breaking into our cars or homes.  You need to ask them is what they are stilling worth more than their lives.  There are many homes in neighborhood that have guns.

            Do you feel lucky?  Well do you?????

As a CHL holder, I must caution you against using a weapon outside of your home, it could still subject you to prosecution even though you're protecting your own property.  A bullet (at the right caliber) can even go through your wall and into your neighbor's home.  Seriously.  Gun safety also dictates to be aware not of your target, but also what is behind and around it, what can possibly be on the other side of that wall, especially should you miss & a stray bullet goes through your neighbor's window and hurts someone.  A split second decision could end your own freedom in a second, I've seen it happen to someone who had the best intentions-the situation turned bad for them.  With a cool-headed thought process, if you have the slightest doubt, DON'T.

Anyone who owns a gun, I highly recommend taking a CHL class.  Even if you do not apply for the license itself, the class has a good overview of safety & a glance over the laws of Texas--including the use of deadly force.

In all cases, ALWAYS call 911.  Let the PD handle things everywhere/whenever possible, they're trained for it, and have the tools to catch the person provided you collect information (physical descriptions, etc)

Protect yourself, just be careful doing it.

Question:  On a couple of days the past week or two, I am on San Joaquin & get home early in the afternoon from work and hear a siren and a speeding engine (I'm assuming it's a FW PD patrol car) that is chasing someone in the neighborhood.  Sounds like patrols are helping?
