cleaning up after your dog

Posted in: Inwood Community Connection
I have recently moved to Inwood and am very surprised to see that so many people do not clean up after their dogs. I am a dog lover and owner and consider myself fortunate to have found this dog friendly neighborhood. I now realize why I so many buildings and neighborhood do not welcome dogs after walking around the park and the streets seeing and sometimes stepping in dog waste. I am not sure of a solution but would welcome any suggestions (community clean-up, posted signs, ect..) So many dog owners are responsible, and unfortunatly the ones that are not often give dog owners a bad name. I think this is a beautiful neighborhood and would love to see it a little cleaner.

Hi,

Yes, this is a complaint heard by many of our community residents.

A community clean up day sounds great!!!

Would you like to plan one for this Spring?

We can always have a clean up day for the community.

Feel free to get it started.
