It was the board who replaced the flags when needed for the 14 years I've been here. Why now, did they quit. Did you complain Amy?

Eddie is correct that any one can attend the monthly meetings.  We post the location and the time on the meeting minutes.  However,  this is not like the annually meeting were everyone gets to express their concerns.  If any one wants time to speak at the meeting then they need to submit a request to the HOA (HOA@riversidechase.com) or to the HOA management company, Elisha Perry @ 864-277-4032.

In my previous post about the flag pole, we voted for keeping them years back. It was a vote in an annual meeting, not in a board meeting. I do not belive that the board itself has such right to make a decision like this one - primarily changed the spirit and look of the neighborhood. As other posters mentioned, it is the board's responsibility to keep the flag renewed. How much is a new flag? A all-weather flag can last at least three months, which means we will need up to 8 flags a year. That can be budgeted. Removing the poles without asking the residents is reckless.

Since my original post, months has gone by. The entrance looks ugly and DANGEROUS. Several tire marks indicates people actually run over the island because they are not visible without the bushes, especially when it is dark. About the trash caught in the bushes? Clean up the trash! Trim the bushes. The entrance landscape was designed professionally at the first place. If the trash caught in bushes is a good reason for removing them, we shouldn't have any bushes and trees in our yards either - because they too will collect trash. Bad excuese!

Board - please restore our neighborhood entrance by re-install flag poles and correct the island/media problem.
