Al?’s Ace Hardware will be moving to Swanway Plaza on April 30th. The old store west of Broadway is small with narrow aisles and equipment packed to the ceiling. The new location will be three times bigger with wide aisles. It will be handicap accessible along with handicap designed restrooms. The screen repair area will be out in the store area and the paint area (photo) is expanded. They have taken on additional staff in preparation for the move. If you ever have any problems call Ed McEwen, Store Director - he can get problems resolved. Both Ed McEwen and Supervisor Boo (photo) feel that the neighborhood is a very important part of Al?’s Ace as Al?’s Ace is an important part of helping local residents.
