Burglary

A 52?” television was stolen from the 4800 block of Melissa. The residents had gone to lunch for an hour and a half and came back to the front door having been busted into.
Andy Squire (Ward 6 representative) mentioned that typically burglary teams with one person in a vehicle and one person walking at night, look through the front windows to see if there is anything to steal. They come back the next week with a van or truck and break in. Close your blinds at night and report any suspicious behavior.
One VIP member had noted a vehicle with a loud muffler had driven by their house several times so they went outside and tried to read the license plate using a flashlight. The vehicle sped off immediately. We need to make criminals uncomfortable in our neighborhood and better yet call in the vehicle license plates of drivers acting suspicious.
