I'm positive that you/they don't police the cc&r's equally. 
I say that because my neighbors don't and the DON'T get violation warnings and/or  any type follow through if they do get warned.  I'm also pretty sure you work for the POS HOA.

I see that this was posted back in 2011... It is now 2017 & I think the HOA is even worse. We were parked out side during the DAY... and we got a "stupid" letter... Not cool Wehn our lease is up, we are moving.!

I'm 72, my wife and I are looking to buy a retirement home in Surprise. A few HOA CCR clauses trouble me. 1) you cannot open your garage door but for ingress and egress. 2) you cannot use your garage for anyghing but storage, no recreation. 3) you can't park in your own driveway. 4) you can't park in the street. These are common in many of neighborhoods. I did not make an offer after I read the HOA CCR. This man is right. I won't be buying a house in Roseview, Surprise, AZ. Also, If I cannot find a CCR online I know the HOA has something to hide. I can go to google earth today and look to see of there are cars in driveways and on the street. Your HOA cannot hide the truth.
