I was wondering if anyone out there would know of a way to communicate to a dog owner about they're dog barking all day and night outside our living room and bedroom windows? This animal can be heard anywhere in our house and when we called the owner and tried to get them to quieten they're dog they argued that it wasn't they're dog! They felt that they're dog didn't bark at just anything and it must have been the dogs up the street.

All I know is that every time I look out the window there is this big dog standing inside they're yard just inside the gate barking at nothing! I don't know who's dog it is but it is always on they're property!

This constant barking interrupts any chances of a good nights rest! You can't hear your television without having to turn up the volume. I don't understand how the owners can't hear the animals barking and if they do why don't they at least have some consideration for others? We try to be considerate of them and they're families.

I don't want to have to call the police or other athorities because I don't want any more hastles from them. I feel this would only make them look for something to retaliate for however as I loose more and more sleep I become more angry for this inconvience.

I'm open to suggestions??

It doesn't do any good to continue trying to convince these people that they're dog is a nuisance!

Sometimes it's best left up the authorities to check up on. If you report it they are supposed to do a follow up on the noises around that residence, then if they find an infraction they will warn the dog owner. If this happens too frequently they will be ticketed for noise ordinences.
