On this portion of the site, there is no anonymous email. Anyone wishing to post a comment must register. At the bottom of this page (not seen on this post) you have 3 choices: 1) email me when someone replies, 2) limit posting to Running Man site, and /or 3) post it to surrounding neighborhoods. This latter option means that all contiguous zipcode neighborhoods see the discussion thread.
On a discussion thread -- you may or may not get an immediate response from a director/leader. On a discussion thread -- the first response might not even come from a director/leader. That's just it -- you have posted a 'discussion thread' which means anyone can respond and the response can be to the point or concerning the futures price of non-aggregated silicon diodes used for bovine indeces.
If you want a (serious) response on your concern, I would suggest you use the list of leaders for Running Man and send an email directly to one or all of the board members. You will get a response, very, very quickly.
While the other site had Captcha and allowed anonymous emails, this particular server/site does not. This was not an intentional choice in hosting servers but was a function that the server company did not envision or provide.
I would suggest that using the Discussion site should concern issues affecting the block, cul-de-sac, area while direct emails to board members should have issues requiring a direct response. For example; a discusson thread topic could be: why doesn't the board permit Boy Scout (or any other youth group) overnight camping in the area near the Clubhouse? [I am really making this up.] Then residents could voice their opinions, pros and cons as well as board members. An example of a direct email would be: I live at the far end of Running Man. How do I get permission to have an in-ground pool on my property? No matter which board member received that email subject, the recipeint would forward it to Brett Grosshans on the ACC. The resident sending the email would get a direct and pertinent response -- no fluff and no references to Peruvian migratory butterflies whose flight pattern would become disoriented with the addition of yet another body of water in their flight path. [Email to any board member would get forwarded to the board member who covers the topic and the sender would get a prompt and serious response AND only the sender would get a response.]
There are pros and cons to either method but this should have explained this feature on the new website some.
