Andrea has stated that the new contact information has been posted to the website. In looking there, our HOA no longer has a Vice President or an Activities Chair. At the June meeting our VP was stated to be absent, not vacant. What has happened since then?
A posting on July 12 asked when the elections would be held to fill the open positions. Can someone inform us of this. I do not have a copy of the bylaws so I don't know what the procedure is. How can a copy of the bylaws be obtained?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Copy of the Bylaws
Brian you can call the County for a copy of the Bylaws or request them from the Board. If you do not have a signed and dated copy of the Deed Restrictions as well as the Maintenance Corp Declaration you can request that from the County or the Board as well. As for elections on a new board. That should be in October at our annual meeting. I am just a home owner like you with many concerns about our community and what is not being done.

In Search of the Bylaws
Linda,
I have signed/dated copies of both the Deed Restrictions and the Maintenance Corp Declaration. I know I got these at settlement (which you said you did not) and may have even received them from the builder at some time during the process, but not before I put down my deposit. I think I read in one of these documents that both of these are required to be on file with the County, but the Bylawsa are optional.
I called the County about three weeks ago to see if they could send me a copy of the Bylaws. They reiterated that the Bylaws are not required to be filed with the County, but could be if someone submits them. Consequently, the County does not have a copy of our Bylaws. They suggested that I contact the Board, which I did, but have not received any response.
I am interested in seeing the Bylaws because I wonder what is stated regarding open positions. Can decisions be made with only 70% of the positions filled? 3+ months with open positions seems to be a long time. Is there any provision for a ''special election'' or appointment before the next annual meeting?
I was stated that legitimate concerns would be answered. I'm still waiting....

In Search of Bylaws
Brian, I will check my files and see who sent me the Bylaws. I want to say that I contacted Carolyn Hagg at the county and she sent them to me. I did not receive any information from the builder or even at settlement. I was one of the first homeowners in our community and I know that there are other homeowners that did not receive these documents either. Try to call the county again and ask for Carolyn Hagg.
