Finding out there is a SAFFE officer program in the first place wasn't the easiest thing to do, and running across this website was just dumb luck while surfing and attempting to find out more.

Why is it when we call our SAFFE officers at Prue Road we can only talk to them if they accidentally answer the phone....because they certainly don't return calls to left messages.   Even if we do get to talk to one they promise to call back and never do.

Is that what we are suppose to expect from these people?

I thought they were supposed to take some of the pressure off the officers on the street, but in the future should we have issues I think we're just going to have to call 911 or 207-SAPD.  7/25/2008
