When one enters our building on the southside of Crawfordsville, Indiana, that person will quickly notice something "missing" from the auditorium. Where are the big speakers for the guitars to be hooked into? Where is the large stage for the drum set and band members? And, is the piano hidden in back? Indeed, one would have to look awful hard and would still come up short in his attempt to find mechanical instruments of music. We would admit that not having mechanical instruments is different compared to other, modern "churches." Yet, the desire to fit in with what the world deems suitable for a church must be seen as unimportant in comparison to serving God in all that he says. Listed on the rest of this page, for your study and convenience, is a complete listing of all the New Testament references that authorize us as a church to use mechanical instruments.
