Seeing that this bulletin is entitled, "The Encourager," I thought that I would leave you with some passages from God's word that are clearly encouraging. These are verses that are important to me and should be to any Christian as they provide encouragement and strength. I have made no comments regarding each individual passage, but instead allow you to read and think about how these things from God's word pertain directly to you.
?· Psalm 42:11 - Why are you cast down, O my soul? ?… Hope in God.
?· Psalm 51:17 - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart.
?· Psalm 118:6 - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
?· Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.
?· Matthew 6:27 - Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
?· John 14:1 - Let not your heart be troubled.
?· Romans 8:31 - If God is for us, who can be against us?
?· Philippians 3:13 - ?… forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
?· Hebrews 13:5 - I will never leave you nor forsake you.
?· I Peter 5:7 - ?… casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
