Here is a copy of a letter I send to our Congresswomen - feel free to copy and use it.
Dear Congresswomen Bass:
On May 18th the hours of operation for our local post office (Preuss 90035 at 1270 Alfred Street) where cut back almost 30%. This was a much larger cut in hours then any of the neighboring post offices in Beverly Hills, Century City and Culver City.
This is the only full service post office in the area that does not open at 9 am or earlier.
This post office serves a lot of small business customers like myself. With these shorter hours, the lines at our post office are already 30-60 minutes long at opening. This makes it for difficult to use for business services like international mail, parcel pickup and special package services.
I hope you will look into this, as accessible post office is an important service for your constituents and the local business environment.
